As we wrap up the end of the year fishing Id like to thank all clients for fishing with me!Starting my 22nd year

guiding Ive outfitted the boat with more features to accommodate better fishing with power pole trolling motor which is very reliable and quiet and all new upholstery for more family comfort. As we go into 2026 starting with bottom fishing on public and private spots many fishermen around or near me we all enjoying the reefs and wrecks around Anna Maria has a lot to offer. If your a beginner or advanced Im always ready. As the weather starts to warm the action will be awaiting the trout, snook, redfish to become more active.

A few Tarpon will start to show and have caught them as early as February. So If your looking to book get the days You want not the days that are left.

2025 Fall Fishing Report

Wow, where did the time go? It’s already fall fishing in Bradenton and Sarasota Bay has been producing plenty of snook and redfish. Although out of Anna Maria and just south of Bradenton Beach has been producing lots of mackerel, blue fish, jacks and lady fish making it great for kid friendly trips. As the water starts to cool, we have been fishing for hogfish and other snappers anticipating the king Fish to show up any week now. The fishing around Anna Maria and Bradenton is warming up from the cold air in Januarys cool down. I have ben catching lots of redfish, snook and trout. I anticipate it only to get better with weather warming up and the migration of tarpon and resident fish showing up. As we go into the new year and 21 years of guiding fulltime

January has started off with an El Niño year . With that the days have been very limited to Fish it’s been mostly windy and cold and wet. Haven’t got to fish as much as I’d like to but when we’ve been able to get out has been its sheepshead, grunts and snappers. A little cool to be fishing in Bradenton for the rest of the game fish but it was manageable but also nice to give them a break from catching them the rest of the year. The weather is slowly starting to shape up and the sun is shining as of now. Anticipating the warm up but not ready for summer. Ready to get the year started catching more fish here in the Bradenton & Anna Maria Island area.

November Fishing Bradenton & Anna Maria Island

Fishing Anna Maria Island

The bite has been pretty good offshore in Bradenton. Mackerel Bonita, Cobia and King Fish have been the best bite off of Anna Maria Island. The slot Snook also have been biting ok. The Red Fish have been spotty, but I anticipate catching more as I move around in the Manatee River. As the water temperatures here in Bradenton starts to drop we will be be moving onto Sheepshead and Hogfish hoping the weather cooperates. Gag grouper and redfish will be on the target list the next few months here in Anna Maria Island. Lots and lots of bait fish have showed up and the fish will be getting hungry. It’s also been a long hot summer with not a lot of rain too sure what to make of it but the push of the fresh water helps some fish spawn so hopefully more is to come. Also anticipating the cool down the fish that have migrated to the north will be coming back this way. King fish and Cobia will start to show up as well behind the bait schools.
